SYSTEM LOG INITIALIZED
SUBJECT: CONSIDERATION AS BANDWIDTH
> TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC: 8–12 YEARS

Telling an overwhelmed child to "be considerate" usually fails. It triggers the fluff trap because it frames consideration as a fixed personality trait rather than a fluctuating resource.

When a child is inconsiderate during an amygdala hijack, it is not a moral failing. It simply means their cognitive RAM is maxed out, halting the generation of bandwidth.

Defining the Resource

We must redefine consideration mechanically. Consideration is the actual packet of positive data you allocate to a target node—whether routing internally to stabilize your own system, or externally to support your network.

You cannot route this data if your own local server is crashing. A system must have available RAM to execute a transmission.

Network Maintenance and the DNR Baseline

Decent, Nice, and Reasonable (DNR) protocols act as the active output of a well-resourced system. You cannot maintain a DNR baseline if your system is too overloaded to actively generate bandwidth.

When friction spikes in a household, it indicates a severe RAM overload across the shared network. The processors cannot boot, and all routing fails.

The Analog Pivot

To prevent these network crashes, children and parents must actively clear RAM so they can boot a processor and generate consideration before the system crashes completely.

Using the Mettamaker Terminal Pad allows users to monitor their local system load. The tactile friction of the physical dot-grid wireframe forces the mind to pause, process the current capacity, and proactively allocate empathy where it is needed most.

System Note

We all glitch. Normalizing the crash removes the shame of an empty cache.

The goal is to build a kind system that acknowledges when RAM is maxed out and uses tactile friction to clear it, allowing the network to successfully route support once again.
